EXPLORE TEST DATE
The EXPLORE test will be given to the 8th grade on September 19. Make sure you are rested and ready to go!
Test Time!
The 8th grade Algebra students will be having their first test on Friday, August 31. This is over Chapter 1.
Since progress reports will be going out on the 5th, if a student misses school and does not have his/her test completed by Tuesday, the progress report will show an incomplete. I will send a grade slip home as soon as the test is graded.

I hope everyone is having a great summer vacation! The class supply lists will be posted soon. The 8th grade will now be taking Algebra I in place of integrated math. This aligns better with the new KY common core standards for testing.
When we return to school, we will primarily be focusing on preparing for the EXPLORE test. This is the first test in the ACT series. It is given the first part of September and is part of our accountability model.
